Properly capturing relevant effects requires a lot of information, such as electromagnetic excitation mounting stiffness, microgeometry, bearing clearances, bearing preload, etc. Now you can consider both mechanical and electromagnetic excitations in a single environment.
Simcenter 3D Acoustics now supports visco-thermal effects in small ducts
Holes and gaps are often found in electronic products such as smartphones, at the speaker and microphone positions. Simulate their effect (damping) on the sound, more accurately, and with no computation time penalty. Surface impedance equivalent fluid models are used instead of linearized Navier-Stokes formulations.
